It's another day within another year
Still i haven't conquered this fear
Crashing in waves, dragging me down
Into the darkness,where i fall and drown
My tears splashed upon this deserted ground
Sealed with emotions, never to be found
my weary eyes glance here and there
To find not a single soul present, anywhere

A faint voice cries out in the distance
In hopes of reaching someone in existence
Yet that shrill scream is only my own
Echoing and unanswered; drifting alone
Everything i touch turns to dust
Blown away from my hands in a single gust
A grieved heart aches
Burdened by emptiness, this spirit breaks

Rolling down my cheeks in a crystal cascade
tears emerge as the end encloses me
No embrace soothes me, a wondering soul
who relinquishes their last shred of control
As a winding path into a suspend shroud of mist
Now cease and desist
Here again, a spirit roams on it's own
Abandoned, being forgotten, utterly alone
